Cedric Hailey, also known as K-Ci, is an American musician born in North Carolina in 1969. He is part of the K-Ci & JoJo R&B duo with his brother Joel Hailey and a member of the band Jodeci. Their first major hit was recorded with 2Pac in 1996, and in 1997 they released their debut album, “Love Always”, which included the chart-topping hit “All My Life”.
K-Ci & JoJo have since released several albums, including “It’s Real”, “X”, “Emotional”, and “My Brother’s Keeper”. K-Ci also released a solo album titled “My Book” in 2006. The duo has been nominated for three Grammy Awards and won the 1999 Blockbuster Award for Best R&B Group and the 1999 American Music Award for Favorite R&B Band/Duo/Group.
In 2011, K-Ci pled no contest to several charges of lewd conduct after allegedly exposing himself at the Jingle Ball concert in December of 2010.
